February 29th, 2020

Cost:

General Admission Tickets $65

Ozaukee Master Gardeners will host its Spring Symposium “Inspired Gardening” on February 29, 2020. “It should come as a welcome respite from a long winter for those eager to be inspired by some truly creative garden experts,” said Erin Schanen, Ozaukee Master Gardener president. “Gardeners will get the inspiration and know-how to apply to their own yards as soon as the snow melts.”

The day-long Symposium will feature three internationally known speakers. Fergus Garrett will provide the keynote presentation. Garrett is the head gardener at England’s Great Dixter, one of the most famous gardens in the world. His presentation is titled “Designing with Plants the Great Dixter Way.” Also scheduled are Diane Ott Whealy, the co-founder of Seed Savers Exchange, and award-winning landscape designer Nick McCullough, who will take our audience through the garden design process, from inception to maintenance.

The Spring Symposium will be held at the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center, W68 N611 Evergreen Boulevard in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. The program begins at 9:15 a.m. and will wrap up by mid-afternoon.

Tickets for both general admission and VIP access are available beginning November 15, 2020. General Admission is $65 per person, and includes a box lunch. The VIP ticket is $100 and includes reserved prime seating and a plated lunch with speakers Garrett, Whealy and McCullough. All attendees will receive a special garden-themed gift bag.
