Master Gardener Program in Waupaca County 2019

At the end of 2019, 21 Master Gardener Volunteers reported 1,095 hours of volunteer service for an estimated value of $26,280 (Independent Sector).  They also reported 474 hours of continuing education and reached an estimated 1,290 individuals with various outreach projects.

The Master Gardener Program in Waupaca County started in 1994. Over 191 people have been trained since that time, and there are currently 23 certified Master Gardener Volunteers (MGVs) for 2019.

In 2018, Waupaca County Master Gardener Volunteers reported 1269.5 hours of community service, worth a value of over $30,468.

MG Associations

The Wisconsin Master Gardener Association (WIMGA) is a statewide organization of individual MGVs and local MGAs. Many counties have their own local MG associations. These are not UW-Extension organizations, but work closely with UW-Extension.
