Join us to usher in Spring at our annual garden conference April 1, 2017 at Liberty Hall, 800 Eisenhower Dr., in Kimberly, WI, 54136.
Featured keynote speaker is Dr. Brian Hudelson, Director of Diagnostic Services at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Plant Disease Diagnostic Clinic. A frequent lecturer and guest on Wisconsin’s many horticulture-based radio and television programs, Dr. Huddleston will be doing a presentation on battling plant diseases among vegetables.
Additional speakers include:
- Author and landscape horticulturist, Jim Beard, will talk about straw bale gardening
- Photographer and OCMGA member David Calle, will use his beautiful photography to present six secrets from historic gardens that can be applied to our gardens today
- Owner of Whistler’s Knoll Vineyard and OCMGA member, Holly Boettcher will teach us about growing a visually beautiful and edible landscape
- Garden Conference favorite and OCMGA member, Kathy Baum will reveal some fun and practical garden tips, tricks, and techniques
In addition to great speakers, enjoy a buffet lunch, snacks, door prizes, and vendors to help usher in the hope of spring. Cost for the entire day, including lunch and snacks, will be $45.
