Master Gardener Foundation Fund

The Master Gardener (MG) program in Wisconsin has grown dramatically over the years from its inception in the late 1970’s. UW-Extension hired the first full-time MG Program Coordinator in July 1999. The Master Gardener Program is administered through the Master Gardener Program Office on the UW-Madison campus, providing training and other educational programs, print and electronic communications to keep UWEX Master Gardener Volunteers connected, record-keeping and other services to the Master Gardener Volunteers of the state of Wisconsin.

Support the Master Gardener Program

Your contributions to the Master Gardener Foundation Fund provide support to improve educational programs and training materials and continue program office activities, in order to maintain the strong tradition of quality education and assistance to individual MGs and local MG associations in their mission to assist UW-Extension in community horticultural programs through volunteerism, education and environmental stewardship.

The University of Wisconsin Foundation is the official fundraising and gift-receiving organization for the University of Wisconsin-Madison and UW-Extension programs.
